Chinese Acupuncture treatment has a history dating back thousands of years. The science of acupuncture is an important component of Traditional Chinese Medicine which is used in the prevention and treatment of disease. Acupuncture therapy has been accepted by the general population for thousands of years.

In ancient literature there were many legends about the origin of acupuncture, such as the creation of therapeutic techniques using stone needles. As there was no iron casting in ancient times, the needles used were made of stone. With the introduction and application of iron instruments, stone needles were replaced with metal medical needles.

Cupping

Cupping is a time-honored therapeutic technique that involves placing small cups on the skin to create a gentle vacuum. This suction promotes circulation, encourages lymphatic drainage, and supports the body’s natural healing processes. Often used alongside acupuncture, cupping is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

With roots in multiple cultures and a long history of use, cupping has been refined within Chinese Medicine into a systematic and effective practice. The suction created by the cups gently lifts the skin, helping to open pores, stimulate blood flow, and encourage the smooth flow of Qi—the body’s vital energy. This process helps break up stagnation, release tension, and draw out toxins from the body.

Cupping helps with:

  • Improved circulation
  • Pain relief
  • Muscle relaxation
  • Respiratory support
  • Stress reduction

Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapeutic practice that involves applying gentle pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, and ears. These reflex points correspond to various organs and systems within the body. Stimulating these areas helps promote balance, support overall wellness, and enhance the body’s natural healing processes.

Much like acupuncture and acupressure, reflexology works with the body’s vital energy, helping to restore harmony and encourage optimal function. It is often used as a complementary therapy and can also serve as a preventive approach to maintaining health.

Reflexology helps with:

  • Improved circulation
  • Stress relief
  • Enhanced relaxation
  • Pain Reduction
  • Energy Balance

Chinese Herbs

Chinese herbal medicine is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and has been used for thousands of years to promote balance, support the body’s natural healing abilities, and address the root causes of illness. Unlike Western pharmaceuticals, which often target symptoms, Chinese herbs are formulated to restore harmony within the body by addressing imbalances in Qi, blood, and organ function.

Used alone or in combination with acupuncture and other therapies, Chinese herbs can help with a wide range of conditions—from digestive and respiratory issues to stress, fatigue, and hormonal imbalances. Customized herbal formulas are tailored to each individual’s unique constitution and health needs, making them a powerful and personalized tool in holistic wellness.

Reflexology helps with:

  • Improved circulation
  • Restores internal balance
  • Boosts immune function
  • Supports digestion
  • Enhances energy levels
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Calms the mind
  • Regulates hormones
  • Promotes healing

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique that uses the heat from burning dried mugwort, typically shaped like a cigar, to stimulate specific points on the body. The moxa is held near the skin until the area becomes warm and slightly red, promoting circulation and activating the flow of Qi.

This gentle heat therapy is used to treat and prevent illness by dispelling cold, alleviating stagnation, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes. Moxibustion is especially beneficial for individuals with cold or deficient conditions.

For centuries, moxibustion has been used alongside acupuncture in clinical practice, and the two therapies are often combined for enhanced therapeutic effect in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Moxibustion helps with:

  • Warms meridians
  • Boosts circulation
  • Dispels cold
  • Relieves pain
  • Enhances immunity
